SOA Can Save Enterprises Billions in IT Spending, Says AberdeenGroup (Tekrati)

The world's largest companies can save up to $53 billion in information technology (IT) spending over the next five years by implementing service-oriented architectures, according to a new benchmark report from AberdeenGroup. Industry analyst William Mougayar says that so far, the business benefits of SOA remain largely untapped, and only 16 percent of companies have had more than 24 months of SOA experience.
